Hero Arts: Armed & Dangerous

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I had this card completed yesterday but had to wait for some natural light to take the photos.  Have you seen the latest Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero kit and additional add-ons?  Oh, there are so many fun new designs!  Check out Stealing My Heart:

So, let's start at the bottom and work our way up!  I started with a Snow Folded Card and layered one of the Heart Tags.  I stamped that girl with Intense Black but didn't ink up her entire left arm.  She was originally carrying a flashlight, I replaced it with a to go cup💚

The cup is from Kelly's Coffee and Donuts set.  I added some other details to the cup.

The enamel dots are from my stash, everything has been colored with copics.

My design was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

LOCALS: I'll be teaching a Hero Arts class at Impress Rubber Stamps on February 3rd! All designs will include a new set from the upcoming 2018 Hero Arts catalog! There will be 5 cards + lots of prizes! More details HERE.

Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Sponsor Solo - Craftin' Desert Divas

Hello and Happy Friday!!!!   I'm happy to share that the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's feature, Sponsor Solo, is back!  What is that?  Well, it's when we take the time to talk about a specific Super Sponsor (a company that sponsors a Coffee Lovers Blog Hop).

Today we're featuring:  Craftin Desert Divas!

I've been eyeing some of the cute digi's in their shop:

This card features their Fox Coffee Cup image.  I teamed it up with a die cut sentiment from my stash.

My card was inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge:

Here's another card that I designed especially for today:

This one uses the Penguin Coffee Cup Digital Stamp.   Can you see the polkas I added to her scarf with my Copic Colorless Blender Pen?  I also added a bunch of tiny dots with my Sharpie Pen.  The sentiment is from my stash (Reverse Confetti) and the pattern paper?  It's from my fiercely hoarded Basic Grey collection.

This was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Make sure you pop over to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog to learn a bit more about Craftin' Desert Divas, for more inspiration + a giveaway!

Reverse Confetti January SFYTT: Baby, it's cold outside

Hello, today I'm featuring a project that was inspired by the January Reverse Confetti SFYTT:

I've been trying to busily design winter themed cards to send out in the next couple of weeks.  I sent out a ton of holiday cards but still managed to miss a ton of people.  Here's one that features the Smitten Mittens confetti cuts:

You might not be able to tell, but those mittens have been cut from craft foam!  The sentiment is from the Seasonal Sentiments set, stamped in Navy.  Love the Pierced Round Top Layers confetti cuts, a nice substitution for the circular element in the sketch.

I've been really enjoying the bellini/seafoam color palette from this month's release, how about you?  You can find it in the Forever My Love 6x6 paper pad.  The twine and enamel dots are from my stash.  I can't wait to see how my other teamies were inspired!

There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th. The SFYTT button is posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.

WHEW!  Now let's get to projects, shall we?  One of my favorite add-on is the darling Love Bandit set!

Perfect, for all ages!  I made a set of cards to send out to some crafty friends!  I'm a big fan of the use of non-traditional colors so I used the Pool Mix Layering Papers.

I used the Heart Infinity Dies to make that guy the star of the show.

This one used both the Nesting Circle and Heart Infinity dies...look at that teeny tiny heart!

That's it for me today...I can't wait to hop around and check out how everyone was inspired.  Next up is the awesome Laurie Willison!

Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop!

Today is the day!  It is the Reverse Confetti  January Release Blog Hop!  That means all the new release products that we've been sneak peekin' are now available in the shop!

You should have arrived here from Heather Hoffman's awesome blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the fun which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

This month we welcome Wanda Cullen Samantha Mann as our 'Fetti Friends!  For today's hop we welcome a bunch of FABulous 'Fetti Friends.

I have a fun giftie duo to share with you today!

I had an upcycled hinged tin that I had so much fun altering.  This is going to be a fun set to give to my Valentine💙.

Let's chat about the card first:

My base is a Navy Blue panel that I layered a panel from the Forever  My Love 6x6 Paper pad.  I die cut a handful of the Congratulations confetti cuts.  The corrugated cardboard one is from a Starbucks sleeve.  The bloom was cut in Navy and then I layered a vellum panel and topped it off with an enamel dot from my stash.  I wanted to soften up the look and tie in the sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments set that has been heat embossed in white on vellum.  This card is a petite 3 x 5 inches.

I'm happy how my altered tin turned will be filled with various Valentine's chocolates including Reeses Pieces :)

I've coordinated it with the card so used the same Navy cardstock and panel from the Forever My Love 6x6.  I added those sweet cheetahs from Heart Spots are earlier project had them pink.  The sentiment is from the Heart Filled Sentiments set on a tag from Tag Trio.

Now hop over to Amy Sheffer's blog!  In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing.
